A book that includes 19 short
stories by the 20th century Turkish realist author Orhan
Kemal has been published in Pakistan.
The Orhan Kemal Cultural Center
said that the 19 stories selected from Kemal’s short story
books “Sarhoşlar” (The Drunk, 1951) and “Çamaşırcının Kızı”
(The Daughter of the Laundress, 1952) were translated into
Urdu by Masud Akhtar Shaikh and published by Mesud
Publishers under the title “Do Sharabi.” |
